Looking for software ideas

I need two programs. One so that my dad can send a fax to me and it shows up on screen so I do not have to have a fax machine to recieve faxes and so he can get faxes while on the road. They do exist, I have heard about them on the radio.

Number two is a good remote access program. All my dad needs is remote access. The warehouse is roughly 45 min away and he wants to be able to access his home network so he can quote and get customer info.

Will spend what I have to, its a business thing but free is always nice.

Check out RealVNC.com, its probably the most popular remote-access client available, and free.

For the fax thing,I know a lot of people that use MyFax, which basically sends and receives faxes via Email. There are tons of companies that offer this, but thats one I see a lot. Its like 10-15 bux a month. I say just buy an all-in-one printer
