    run all of ur spyware/antivirus shit in "safe mode" and unplug ur cat5 cable

    or even be a lazyass and do a system recovery back to a date when ur settings were good. lol that works almost 90% of the time.

    ^^ That is if he created a restore point, most ppl do not. Get Hijack This so we can take a gander into your registry. If it is hijacking your homepage where is it redirecting? Also if you have a \"copy\" of XP wait till Microsoft forces you to input your registration key for all updates/patches..lol then it starts to get difficult.

    just reformat, i got a copy of xp pro that will let you get the sp2.... you should reformat a windows box atleast 1x a year anyway.

    I didnt set a restore point because im an idiot and forgot to this time around.


    I used Hijack This last night and i was able to get it to run fairly well. it only has a pop up every so often, like once per hour. During the time i was testing it last night i was only on IA so i knew it wasnt anything to do with the site. Apparently there is something deep in the system, perhaps in windows explorer as was suggested by KingElli.

    I did , it claims to be completely clean even after a few restarts, then after a bit it loads everything back in almost like there is something in the background i cant see there. it then takes over my favorites list and goes from there, it isnt as bad now because of the Hijack This but damn it was a bish the other day.

    spyda PM me the cd key your using for XP if its the same which it probably is you just need the hack file to fix it
