Yea, you see a lot of that on the backroads. Scares you to bust ass through them to get home at night considering most of the deaths are animal related!

A lot of the crosses on the way to Dothan are dead teenagers who got drunk before they got to Panama City for spring break (Suprise Parents).

I often notice crosses while I work (Riding passenger in a box truck). I always wondered how some people screw up. A lot of it is from people falling asleep or dozing off while driving down long long long straight roads.

I was on the Suches Loop where motorcycles and cars like to race around. I didn't have time to pay too much attention because I didn't want to become one of those crosses. But when I did pay attention you'd see them in some weird places that were often times not turns. I think a lot of it is becuase bikes try to pass slower cars and get hit head on.
