Hmm..I can't really figure it out. When I try to get a list of maps..its only shows me maps with like 100+ Latency..and then when I try to connect...it just says "connecting to server" Sometimes I can only find servers with 1000+ latency...**** is gay...call me up i will help u get going i have had crazy problems with mine but it runs great now

do you have cable modem? if you do, your line might have "static" or "line interference" or something like that. i had 1.5 dsl for a while and it ran awesome. usually the lowest latency in the server, now that i switched to cable, its kinda crazy. if you're using the cable provider's cable modem/router, then thats probably whats making you ping so high. thats what i use and i can't find a game that will ping anything under than 1999. if you just use a cable provided cable modem, and use your own router, that should straighten things out.
when i had the cable company modem and my own router, i would ping decent, but it would fluctuate and freeze in the middle of the game. i think this is because of loss packets. this is a cable line problem in which you have to call the cable company and let them know so they can come out and fix it.
