This issue has been addressed in black media for months now.. this did not just happen. People like Steve Harvey, Warren Valentine, Tom Joyner have been getting the word out on their shows and creating an awareness. Sure they have. Who do you think was oppressed before blacks came on the scene, the Purples? England is a prime example of this. From the 1300's to the 1700's there were mass tortures, beheadings and general stripping of liberties of other whites. They don't call the Tower of London the Bloody Tower for nothing. Kings have ALWAYS ruled with an iron thumb, if they didn't, they were killed and replaced. Slavery was common, (White Slavery), lootings and way worse things were an everyday occurance during those times. Since we've strayed from the topic many years and miles away let me re-cap my original argument/debate.

The sentence for the first of six black boys was unjust. I believe race had to do with the exaggerated sentencing. I believe the other five boys would have received similar sentences had the media and national attention not been garnered.

That is all, label me ignorant, stupid, a cunt or what ever the fuck you want but I know what's happening in Jena, Louisiana is wrong.

1482 The Portugese build the first permannt Slave trading post in what is now Ghana, it handled 30,000 slaves a year.
1510 The first slaves arrive in the Spanish colonies. So Hispanics owned Afircan slaves before we did. Hmm.
1518 The first shipment of slaves arrives in the Americas. 74 years after the first Africans were taken. Oh no, there goes the neighborhood.
1562 John Hawkins becomes the first English man to trade in slaves. So 118 years after African slaves were taken, We get our first dedicated and known slave trader.

Also, Shaw, Bailey and Ryan Simmons, 17, are arrested on charges of theft of a firearm, second-degree robbery and disturbing the peace in connection with the Dec. 2 fight.
