You are correct, but we are debating the hanging of a noose. A noose that had no neck in it, much less a black one. It was a noose in a tree. While that is highly offensive, it isn't illegal. Beating someone up however, IS highly illegal.

No matter how you cut it, how you try to say that history has taught us what happens when a noose is put in a tree, no crime was committed until the black kids took it upon themselves to become judge, jury and almost executioner.

Barring all your other filler in this debate, those are the facts and the facts are that they are criminals. They are violent offenders of the law. And we punish violent offenders of the law. If we didn't, they would resort to violence anytime they felt it necessary to enforce their point. Whats to stop them from punching out an old lady who took their parking space or cut them off in line at the supermarket. "Oh hell no, that white lady cut us off, let's kick her ass cause she's a racist"
