There are three puppies in the pics.
    1 female, 2 males.
I let my 3 lb adult male breed my 5 lb adult female...so they were FREE....well not free, but you get the idea.

    Vick is a dick.

Believe it or not, although Yorkies are generally friendly and get along with other dogs, Yorkies can have
the 'grit' to take on most anything. I know of people who have lost Yorkies due to a fight between them.
Rather unfortunate and not done on purpose thats for damn sure! Just like people some individuals just dont get along.

A couple of them will probably be up for 'adoption' to the right home. A qualified party is somewhat interested in the female and I may keep one of the males. Its really difficult to choose.

I would be interested in adopting a puppy, I have an acre of land for the little furball to runaround in.

    Here's the deal people...
When considering a Yorkie there some factors to consider...yeah they are cute, and they are often very small. Breed standard is 4-7 lbs. Many of the pet shop variety Yorkies are big and rather poor specimens...although cool in their own way. My breeding pair is 3 and 5 lbs. The downside of that is that small dogs are rather delicate. Yorkies love people and are usually found right next to them, underfoot....which isnt the best thing if small children are present...in fact tiny dogs and kids are a bad combination in terms of the health of the animal. Even adults must take care to avoid accidental injuries or death to these critters. Secondly, with the poularity of the breed and the current fad among many to obtain a very small dog, the temptation is there for many to breed small dogs just for the $$...without regard for their mental health and well being. Due to their size these dogs can be kept in a two foot square cage and the fact that small Yorkies often fetch $1500-2500 is a great temptation to some. Even the ordinary 'ugly' petshop variety run $700-900 typically. My friends that breed them get $800-2500 for all their pups. My female came from their stock.

I have bred Yorkies before but I havent in a long time...I probably wont again soon. My dogs are pure bred, and quite small, pretty nice specimens. In considering a home for any of my pups I wish for them to be personal lap dogs, pampered by their owner. These are NOT outdoor dogs to be left in the yard. To avoid breeders who are looking for 'breed stock' my pups will not come with papers, although they are definitely quality pure bred dogs. That will eliminate some interest right there...and thats fine with me. This isnt a business for me.
In addition to providing the right home there will be an 'adoption fee' as well. I want anyone that gets one of my animals to be very serious about it. If someone is thinking I am 'dumping' a free or $100 teeny tiny Yorkie that isnt gonna happen. If I have to keep them all so be it. I am prepared for that. I highly doubt that will be the case. Having owned Yorkies for more then 20 years I know quite a few people who'd be happy to get one of these for a lap dog & pet. This particular litter is really nice, they look to be small and well proportioned critters.

I am sorry if this comes off as some PETA sounding rant...I am not into that crap at all. I just care about my own pets and what happens to them. I lost my most favorite 3 lb Yorkie to an accident involving a child and I know first hand how that feels. I am not some sign waving wackjob picketing animal use and/or products either. I just like my Yorkies.
