He was talking about the Nitric Oxide (not nitrous...) pump that keeps the blood flowing through the veins to deliver to the muscles. Basically keeping the muscles and veins pumped while the supplement flows through and helps to expand the muscle. Mostly used in supps with creatine and dextrose or ALA (Alpha lipolic acid), the dextrose or ALA basically causes an insulin spike in your body to force it to absorb more of the creatine and the NO (Nitric Oxide) pump keeps the veins and muscles expanded for better absorbtion.
