Default How do you clean the sole of your shoe?

What do you guys use to clean the sole of your shoe? Like the white part, not the actual bottom of the shoe?

Any tricks? Anything weird that'll clean good? I've used simply green but that requires a lot of rubbing and scrubbing. Any secrets?

Come on are you serious? They're shoes, they get dirty on their own. I can't walk outside without the white part getting dirty, IT'S WHITE AND ON YOUR SHOE. Shit happens

I've always thought of shoe cleaner as being a waste I'll try rubbing a wet washcloth over it followed by wetsanding with 2000 grit sandpaper and then rubbing alcohol

SHOUT!!! well the gell kind works well...

depending on what kind of shoe they are.. just throw them in the washer... my NB came out looking brand new..

but they are the breathable mesh like shoes with a foamy sole... i just cover them in shout.. cleaned em up with a toothbrush or even just a finger.. worked like a charm.

and i was just about to suggest this, cuz shout (i used the spray kind) worked wonders, just a little bit of brushing and the dirt and crap comes right off.
