-If you want to spend some money, goto Opera. Opera kicks ass, but it's $10 a shot and like $5 a beer. So either pregame hardcore or be ready to drop some money (who cares actually, it's your birthday!)
-Close 2nd would be Cosmo/Lava. Place is pretty big and good to have all your friends in one place and not spread out all over the damn place. But again, it's pretty damn expensive.
-Fever is full of fucking Asians, it blows unless you get a VIP area wristband. And it's pretty expensive.
-Compound is pretty badass too. I spent a bunch of money to get an area, but it's hard getting so many people to help pay, as I didn't see $1 dollar from that night (I think my tab was like $660 bucks). But I had a great time, and partied like a rockstar. Tracy got in a fight that night!!
-If you don't want to spend too much, I'd suggest the Buckhead Trifecta, especially if you are more into a college crowd. Cheaper drinks, large crowds, younger genre. At Hole in the Wall, if you have like 15 people, they'll give you a free keg between 9-11 I think, as long as you show up early and let them know ahead of time. Peachtree Tavern and Moondogs are always cool, and you can always jump around between them.
-Also East Andrews doesn't have a cover unless you go upstairs, drinks are a little more expensive, and crowd is kinda older.
-Then there's always the Virginia Highlands area. Very laid back and chilled area, always crowded. Old people like Tracy live in the area. Hand in Hand is probably the coolest, or Neighbor's.
Either way, have fun, and I'll prolly see ya around if you are in Buckhead!!
