    Depends on your budget really, both are great guns.

    lol. my bad. forgot to put that this is airsoft. i thot yall would be able to tell by the pics. i know how much both of them costs. but most likely ima get the m4.

    i dont know much bout airsoft guns either. thats why i posted this thread. i need to know which gun is better! i like the mp5 cause its light and looks good. but the m4 is more powerful and i also like the way it looks. damn it! hard decision.

    I chose M4 for airsoft, heres some reasons why

    -Longer barrel= a little better consistant groupings(210mm VS 363mm barrel)
    -easier to work on/disassemble for upgrades, especially if the MP5 has a TM style body
    -battery space- Easy to rewire an m4 to the back for a large battery. That mp5-J uses mini batteries, which won't have as much capacity as a large sub-c battery. If you go choose the MP5 though, get the full stock MP5A4

    The main question is: Are you playing indoors or outdoors?
    If your playing indoors (close quarter combat) the MP5 would be a good choice. Indoors, the feet per second or power, doesn't mean alot, cause your not shooting long distance at all.
    If your outside, the M4 would be the best bet. The MP5 would be a good stand by weapon for the times when you can't get your main weapon reloaded quick enough or a jam cleared.

    PS... The M4 has alot of add-on $&iT!!!!

    Im only a month late on this thread but I love either guns the same. I have 2 MP5's and 3 M4's and its hard to choose which one i like more to play w/. the M4's gonna be easier to get stuff for cuz of the platform. also if u like to spray, i'd stick to an M4 cuz u can get larger mags for them (450bb's for the M4 (ics mag) vs 220 bb's for the MP5) The looks cool in whatever form it comes in. hell either is a great gun man.

    Dude I wanna play we need to get a match together! I want an excuse to get a better gun. All I have now is a shot gun that shoots 300fps with a high cap mag....
