The whole application thing is BS though, the only reason it says "African American" and not "Black" is because they have to be PC. I feel like the "African Americans" set themselves apart for one reason or another...but want to be treated "equal". You discriminate against yourselves. I know several "African Americans", they are from Africa and now live in the US. I also know several Black people...who were born and raised here in the states.

I get wanting to be close to your roots, but that title ignores how far you have come...that you are Americans now...equal and free. I'd be proud of that, that's all.
