    Default A good lake?

Anybody know of a good lake around gwinnett that you can go fishing in. I don't want to catch any weak ass brim either. If necessary I'll pay to get in as long as i'm guaranteed to catch something.

over by lawrenceville in the MOG area...I wouldn't mind travelling 30-45mins though. I got my girlfriend into fishing and she loves it now; but last time we didn't catch anything so i'm sure if we caught a few, even if it was just one she'd enjoy it.

I dont really know anywhere with that many fish. I had a neighbor with a pond he filled with cat-fish, but other than that I have never had much luck with fishing in random lakes/ponds.

Seems like theres alot of people on here that go fishing. personally I enjoy it cause it's fun and relaxing at the same time but i'd still say i'm considered a rookie. We should get together an IA fishing meet if we can find a good lake. Anybody down to try the idea?

I would but I live on a lake now. I get sick of fishing, it's really hit or miss. Some days I get no bites, other days tons of bites from tiny fish, and very rarely I catch some big fish.

Lanier is semi decent and close. I'd say allatoona or hartwell have always been good for early AM start with a bass boat. I'd go to either of lanier anyday
