but my question still lies with marriage how do you marry someone from another religion would you choose to do just a ring ceremony or have one for hers and one for yours?

I'm atheist, and most of the girls I know claim to be religious. I think the thing with religion is its all for show. Its easy to say you are religious, but actually following through is another. I know a lot of people who go to church hungover. :rolleyes: Organized religion (for most people) is just a way for people to identify with eachother based on the lines of class, race, economics, etc.

But I don't think I could date a religious girl. I refuse to go to church and pretend I am religious. I know I am a heathen and I am up front and honest about it. Most people who are religious are also to the right of the political spectrum as well, and I happen to be pretty far left. I would be OK dating a religious girl, but I wouldn't want her practice of her religion to suffer because of me. I am holding out for the right girl, one who is as faithless and decadent as I am :crazy:

When theres no God sex before marriage isn't a sin. So the pressure for marriage isn't nearly as bad :goodjob:

You can get married at the justice of the peace and theres no mention of God in the ceremony at all. You can also just not get married:lmfao: . I think 2 people can be faithful enough to each other not to need to get married. I myself have never been much for pomp and circumstance, I find weddings assine. I am dreading my own, if I ever have have one.

I'm agnostic, and I definitely couldn't date a girl who was REALLY religious. Especially if she believed in creationism and whatever... If she just went to church and stuff I wouldn't mind as long as she didn't force me to come. I'd go once or twice, but I would never go all the time.

Kids? I honestly wouldn't care. If she felt strongly enough about it to take them to church, then she could. I just wouldn't be going.
