I dipped Skoal for over 10 years. I highschool, I had a GF that smoked, so I stated dipping to piss her off. Started with Skoal pouches, and moved to long-cut wintergreen. Stopped cold turkey about 9 years ago. My uncle-in-law is a dentist, and said he would give me free cleanings if I quit. Just stopped about 2 months after that offer.

At one point, I was dipping 9-10 cans a week.... No lip/mouth/throat cancer for me!!
