    Default deleted cookies?!?!

cliff notes: i dont know much about computers and i fucked around and deleted my cookies. so now i cant stay logged in to a rx7 fourm im a member of and cant check my email. i need help asap

ok first off i know nothing about computers really. so it started as a message would pop up that said "due to current security setting this file cant be accessed" or something to that nature. it came up while try to download a video. so i figured i had to many so i deleted all the real old ones i had. that didnt work, so i woundered around looking in menu's and stuff on my computer to find security setting but couldnt find any. then i found this thing that said "reset web settings" in tools so i figured that would work. ok i tryed it and it didnt. then i went into internet options and found the security setting and changed it and it worked, so i figured i fixed it. WRONG!! now i cant login to my email (yahoo) it says something about my cookies and not allowing me to login?? so i went looking again to see if i could fix this problem. back to internet options i go and see this niffty little button that says "delete cookies..." i go well if you dont like my cookies ill delete them (again i dont know anything about computers). and *click* it say "are you sure" *click* yep i say. so i figure problem fixed and again im wrong. now the rx7 fourm im a member of i cant stay logged in. i login but click to the next page and it says im a guest and i still cant get into my email someone PLEASE HELP!!!!

    thanks

You need to go to tools > internet options > privacy tab

What level is it set at? If it is set High or Very high, it will not allow cookies, which is what keeps your login information. Don't worry, deleting the cookies did not cause the problem, deleting cookies from time to time is just fine. If you set the privacy level to medium it should be good. If this is not the case let me know.

I FIXED IT!!!!!! i guess when i reset my web setting it put my privacy setting to default. so after playing with it for a min. i changed it to a custom setting and it asked something about 1st party and 3rd party cookies (or something like that) and i put accept both and i can now check my email and stay logged in on here and the rx7 fourm. hahaha im a computer wiz!!! (ok not really but i happy i fixed it).

umm i dont know pharm teg?? whats a fire wall?
