Well my comp turns on but nothing comes on the screen so there goes the hard drive i think im not sure but godamn that pisses me off. But you guys have any opinions on why the screen is blank?

Could be your video card has gone down the crapper. If you have another computer, try hooking the HD into another computer and see if it works then.

Do you get your opening screen where it tells your mfg.? Cna you go into BIOS still? Or what? Is it beeping when you power it on? Does the power light on the front flash ?

Because if the HC failed, you would still get the opening screen and then it would usually go to a screen saying something like "boot sector fail, press F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup" or like 'No bootable devices on drive xx"

Nope nothing just a blank screen and that's all. I think it crashed and kicking it made it worse.
it could be a powersupply or motherboard or processor if it doesnt at least try to boot up its one of those

Yeah DTD's right, if you don't get your BIOS info or a splash screen from the manu, your motherboards fucked up.

well i do have a shitty motherboard the one that uses the amd 743 series i think so its outdated. Power supply is 250 which is shit and im on my laptop if your wondering. I might well buy a new comp maybe an HP or a custom on.e
If you do buy custom, I'll build it for you.
