    Question Curious?

    im curious to know who on IA is afriad of death? weird question i know.
    but like evrything else death is a part of life.... hurts to lose a love one but crying and begging "God" isn't gonna bring the person back!

    the best thing that anyone can do is to swallow your pain and move on. i know i always get told by my dad... that he won't be here forever... that i will one day be all alone... that losing someone you love and recovering from the pain will make you stronger! So who here is afriad of death? passing away, losing a loved one.? and lets spice it up alittle...... who is ready to go to hell? i know that i haven't done bad things in my life but im not a religous person.. i don't believe in god or anything that has to do with Christ. Lets go

    reps if i can! i don't have kids.. but when i think about death, i think about leaving my family behind... (even though i don't have one of my own yet..) and it kills me... it's like i can just picture their heart ache and it hurts me now... weird.. i can't imagine what it would be like if i actually was married and had children!

    I actually have back in ohio. It was January in 2006. I was chillin with some friends for a weekend. They had a huge wrestling meet at their school. We of course were partying. About 10:30 we heard a horrible noise. Went outside just in time to see head lights tumbling acrossed a feild. 4 graduates of that school, who were at the time going to YSU got T-boned by a drunk driver running atleast 100 mph in an F150. A very sobering moment we tossed our drinks and ran 200 yards to the accident. The driver has already passed by the time we got there. We did everything we could to try and get the roof of the car pulled up so others could get out. Nothing doing. 2 of the three still alive died right there before us while we tried to save them. One girl actually bled to death in her boyfriends lap. The driver, the 2 in the back seat, were the ones who died. The passenger (girlfriend of the driver) Lived with long term injuries. I came to find later that all the occupants in ther car had siblings wrestling in that meet.

    The drunk driver got 30 years in jail over it all. He'll never be able to get a drivers liscense again. He was only about 25 or so.


    To the question of am I afraid of death? Not personally. If I die, then I die. There's nothing I can do about it. As read in another post I made recently I have infact been dead for a short period of time.

    However I'm worried about losing loved ones. Which is why I never pass a chance to tell them how much I care, or love them. Even my closest friends know this of me. I'll always be this way. The only thing that scares me about my own death is how my friends would take it.

    This is a very interesting topic actually. I know I'm going to heaven but I can't say that I don't fear the unknown... Like what it's gonna feel like to take your last breath, etc... It's just a fact that humans fear the unknown.

    I wont lie, it scares the shit out of me. Its human instinct. Anyone who says they arent afraid needs to see a doctor. I dont even know why im scared of it, just am. Not scared as in its around every corner but in the sense that I dont know whats going to happen and I hate that.

    I know its normal and its going to happen eventually but its just one of those things. If someone puts a gun to my face I know its going to be quick and painless but its still going to scare the shit out of me. I think its a combination of things, afraid that ill miss out on things that I never got a chance to do, afraid for what will happen to my family afterwards, and afraid of whats going to happen when I die. Im pretty sure I will just decompose in a box 6ft under but then again no one has ever come back to tell us what its like.
