cool, I had a Red Tail years ago. he was quite aggressive with the mice. his attack was awesome. unfortunately my roomie attempted to feed him while he was beginning to shed and he died (R.I.P. Whoo-D-Q). replaced him with a burmese hatchling which I raised until he was a lil over 6 ft long.

The burmese I had, mom was 26ft and dad was 24 ft. After MINE got around 14ft I thought there is no way I want to take care of a 20ft + plus snake so I gave him to wildside in oakwood. Alsomy red tail isnt big, he is like 2 ft,not sure why you said he was.

Only thing I dont like about the trd tail is they dont like water. See with a burmese you can put them in the bathtub and they poop an dpee in their water bowl so easy clean up. I didnt know red tails didnt like water, so my first one I accidentily drowned him.
