Your analogy makes absolutely no sense. What does a car have to do with a gun? The government doesn't care how much hp your car has; Why do you think we have speed limits? It doesn't matter if your car has 100 hp or 500 hp, every motorist is supposed to obey the speed limit, so your point is moot.

cars have nothing to do with guns (although they kill 10's of thousands a year in this country) but you saying that someone shouldnt own a certain type of gun is as rediculous as the govt saying you can only own a 100 hp car

Guns are made to injure or kill. Cars are not made to do so. Your analogy fails.
Please tell me if you think my car looks good. But don't tell me if you think it's ugly - only on IA

So what about alcohol? What's its place in society? Let's blame all the drunk driving deaths, fights, murders, and other crimes on the object rather than the individuals under the influence. Alcohol kills more people than guns do in America every year. So let's ban alcohol!!!! Oh, wait... We already tried that and it failed miserably!!!!
