It really depends on your isp and whether they give you static or dhcp ip service. If you have static ip service then you cant really change it, otherwise if you have dhcp try disconnecting your modem and then reconnecting it. That sometimes will give you a new ip but not always. Like i have dhcp from comcast and the ip hasnt changed in over 6 months.
i have charter communication if that helps?
Only dialup changes IPs, But on DSL/CABLE your IP stays the same at your IP location

charter normally gives you a block of ips that will rotate every couple of weeks... if you have a router you can try to renew/refresh your ip & it may also tell you how long you've had the same ip. more than likely it will change on its own every few weeks.
Sure ya can. Use public proxy servers but I wouldn't recommend it. Several other ways you can but I wouldn't want you to do illegal things with 'em. muahahaha
I have charter, seems to cycle every so often, but i rarly check my ip, so who knows. Should change, rebooting modem will sometimes cycle to the next ip, but then agian that isnt always true. umm, "repair" on win xp i belive will cycle you a new one sometimes, but I cant remember off hand. sry
