Geneon USA cancels distribution of all DVD's as of today. They're taking the Kodakawa Pictures route and turning into a licensing/translation company now. They're going to outsource all of their DVD sales so expect a small flux in Geneon DVD's for a bit. Shouldn't be too bad though.

Not sure if this has been posted yet in here or not, but if you go to www.crunchyroll.com and register. Then click on the Anime link you'll find tons of Anime episodes in there. I've been catching up on the Old Naruto episodes myself and watching the new Naruto Shippuuden series at the same time. Just and FYI incase anyone here didn't know about it.
gundam 00 just got subbed, i will let you know what i think of it after i watch it. nothing will ever beat the original.
The new Gundam has artwork that looks like it's from a shoujo series. All the guys look like chicks and I predict it to be more of a homo-fest than Gundam Wing was.

Death Note hitting Adult Swim October 20th. How does everyone feel about this?
I think it's a good thing. Most animes that hit Adult Swim either:
A) Get mixed in with fankids who buy and overabuse everything on CN.
or
B) It'll flush down the toilet.
Seeing as how I dislike Death Note almost as much as I dislike Death Note fanboys/fangirls, I've no problem with either result.
i liked death note, but most of them time after a series hits CN it gets more popularity than it should. example cowboy bebop.
Also i wonder how bad the subs will be for Deathnote. because if they dont do it right it will ruin this series. (by making it to serious or gay)

Did you mean "dubs" instead of subs? If so, then I agree and it's unfortunate that most anime dubs are awful. I anxiously awaited the DVD release of Air and when I heard the dubs, I almost wanted to burn the DVD due to the horrendous dubs that scarred my favorite anime.
yeah dubs *typo* i honestly think that was the main reason i liked gantz, for me the voice has to match the personality of the character, and in many of the dubs it is way off and ruins it for me. Since about 2 years ago i only watch anime with subs (since i know very little japanese)
There are very few anime in which I found the dubs to be decent or better. .hack//SIGN had dubs that were as close to perfect as you could get. I can watch this series from start to finish in English with no quarrels what-so-ever.

Clannad is the spring arc and the last of the "season anime" from Key. So far it's pretty good. If you like Air or Kanon, then this one is a prime pic.
Key's Season Anime
Spring = Clannad
Summer = Air
Fall = One
Winter = Kanon
Pretty much all of these are sad-as-hell love stories. Kanon was good, but Air will rip your f*cking heart out. One was a short OVA and is hopefully up for a remake since it was rather disappointing. Clannad looks to be good, but I'm curious to see if it will end in tears or not.

I don't know what genre you like so generalizing is kinda tough.
Blood gore little girls having those squeaky voice and making laughin a peverse way or lots of action. Im not really into drama like omg I Hate you but I love or do I hate you. I Hate that crap.

He Is My Master is good for that, minus the blood and gore part. Not much available in terms of little girls and gore aside from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Maybe check out the new season for Bokutatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan?
