Just wondering if you guys had some suggestions on what else is good to watch
I had the feeling that I've forgot something, thanx :goodjob:
Try G Gundam, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, GunGrave, Hajime no Ippo(boxing pretty good show i loved it), Claymore (doesn't really have a male main character, but fighting makes it worth it), Tenjou Tenge (fighting is bad ass). Try some of those and let me know how it goes.
My list reads like you two. Watching most of them now.

Yea G-Gundam kinda sucked compared to the other gundams. Gundamn Wing series was the best one.
lol. everyone is entitled to their opinion.Quote:

i am watching \/ and will probably follow 1 or 2 new shows
Yozakura Quartet, (downloaded 1st episode, have not watched)
ef_-_a_tale_of_melodies, (dl)
Kurosh*tsuji,(dl, filter edited it out lolol)
Vampire Knight Guilty(downloaded the 1st season but never watched it),
KUROZUKA,(waiting for someone to sub it, but from the reviews it sounds like they made it not as dark as the manga so i doubt it will hold my interest)
CHAOS;HEAD(looks dark, you have any info ran? :D),
Michiko to Hatchin, (maybe
gundam 00 (seems really generic but i am going to watch it anyway because it is gundam :P),
detroit metal city (i really like it, maybe it is because i am into music and it pokes fun at alot of stereotypes)
Currently Watching
Ghost Hunt (Stupid title but a decent series so far.)
Shakugan no Shana (Still haven't finished it for some reason.)
Burst Angel (Meh, it's okay.)
Bamboo Blade (Kendo focused harem anime. Woot!)
Elfen Lied (For about the 6th time.)
Strike Witches (A new favorite series. Still waiting on Ep.12 though.)
Kodomo no Jikan (Pedo humor, but pretty entertaining. Watching for the 2nd time)
Not a lot on my plate right now for some reason. :dunno:
I have a question. What other series are well drawn like Gundam 00? I like series like Code Geass the best, I think. Some of the older series are just too sloppy. They also need to be interesting, of course.
you are just interested in the art, any other preferences as far as story goes?
I like a variety of stories, but dislike the old 70s/80s cartoon look. They look almost out of focus.
gantz(good art with a manga storyline that is still good), air gear(wacky shonen anime) , seirei no moribito ((very nice art, not bad story)ran, help me with the spelling lol)
but the series i would really check out over all of those is Freedom it is a 7 episode ova with a great story and the character and mecha designer from akira and steamboy. It one of my favorite series. has anyone else seen it?
in short, WATCH FREEDOM
Downloading Freedom now...
^let me know how you like it
I'm currently watching Eve no Jikan (it is taking forever to continue) and Toradora! which are both good shows so far.
Toradora is really going to be a series worth keeping up with. Fans of Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana will be quite pleased with it. :goodjob:Quote:

On another note, Death Note 2 - The Last Name (live-action) is playing tonight and tomorrow night at the theatre. I'm trying to go tonight to catch it.
I started watching Claymore again over the weekend. Once you get past the weird artstyle it's actually pretty bad@ss.
i really cant get into it.....Quote:

Well, it is a comedy. Guren Laggan is basically a spoof on everything that is shonen anime. Big guns, giant robots, scantily clad busty girls, flower eyed lolis (literally), all thrown together for one giant failfest. The series is a joke unto itself and fans of series such as Excel Saga and FLCL will probably enjoy it. It was just a bit too idiotic for my tastes.Quote:

Something with lots of boom and shoop da whoops
but unlike most spoofs guren laggan went way over the top with the story imo.Quote:
