fight the ticket or not

so i get pulled over on I400 going 89. the cop says hes gonna gimme a break and write down 69. he said to not even testify and just pay, because if i go to court then he'll testify against me and i'll end up losing my license (i'm 17).

however, some other people are telling me it'll go down on my record anyways, and other people are just telling me to go fight it.

any advice, and is the cop telling the truth when he says it won't go down on my l.history?

btw the limit is 55 on i400.

it wont affect insurance, because its only 14 over i am guessing.... which is a cheap ticket.. be glad that happened

34 over if you fight it, youre fucked...he vut you a HELL of a break cause he could have automatically tacked on wreckless driving too so maybe he was hungry or had to piss when he pulled you over and youre a dumbass for going that fast there anyway

yea thats what i was originally gonna do. but someone brought it to my attention that the cop lied to me, so i started questioning it. thanks for the help!

oh, and i see people doing 90+ during the day when there's traffic. maybe they just know where the traps are.
