Default Blackberry Pearl vs Moto KRZR

So I want a new phone and can't really decide. Of coruse if I go with the pearl I'll need to add a data plan. But from a consumer stand point, which one would you go with?

I don't feel like waiting for the iPhone, but I'll probably pick that up when it comes out.

I'm feeling the Pearl right now, but price is the same on either.

Blackberrys are great phones. I had an older one, it was amazing. Really easy to operate and find what you need and very functional. Also the battery life on blackberrys is ridiculous.

When you pay for a krazr you are paying for the name, the price of making such a compact phone, and the fact that it is the latest phone. When you buy a blackberry you get a whole lot more in my opinion.

I've had both phones and the pearl beats the KRZR, not to mention I don't even have the data plan and I still like it more.

I understand I don't need a data plan, but I know I'll end up buying it if I had a Pearl.

Well, the KRZR is going to be alot cheaper than I thought, about $140 cheaper or so. I haven't had a flip phone in a while and I love my SLVR. Still go with the Pearl?

It depends what your looking for. Are you looking for just a regular phone or more of a PDA device with full internet capability. I say go for the Pearl. The KRZR is nice, but not that nice. Besides the Pearl looks really good and has a lot more functions than the KRZR. Also, there's no point in getting a PDA without the data plan

FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

apparently I found out today Data with Cingular is $40 a month, which I'm not willing to dish out.

Looks like the KRZR is seeming more and more attractive. I thought it was giong to be another $20 a month for data! I messed with a pearl today, and wow, it was weird with all the texting and keys.
