No, it is accepted in most theologies, or philosophies that "what goes around comes around" if you will. Therefore It is not "ironic" that someone suffers the same wrong that they commit. That scenario is better described as "poetic justice". Again refer to my definition of irony if you are still confused.

i don't give a fuck what theologies or philosophies believe in "what goes around comes around", that has no bearing on what the meaning of irony is and how it's used. maybe ur so ignorant that u can't even see outside of one lame example u've come up with. say i hate pets and can't stand the dog i have, now say i decide to take such dog to the humane society to give it away, wouldn't it be IRONIC if i came home and found out my gf just went out and bought a new puppy? open ur eyes (and more importantly ur mind) u simpleton.

Correct, that example would also be ironic. I think you are getting it!

You're and idiot for bringing that up. "What goes around comes around" yes yes, that's relevant! A doctor, who went through years of schooling to help people HOWEVER said people wanted to be helped, in this case mothers wanting abortions, should deserve to die because he's extinguishing a potential life. Forgetting the fact that an unborn child hasn't even developed genuine consciousness yet.

You people crack me up. You spend so much time pissing and moaning about people "taking life" through abortion, when there's thousands upon thousands, of lives that could be improved upon if people as a whole ever gave a shit. Personally I'd rather fight for the life of a homeless person, than fight for the life of something that only just falls within the boundaries of being "alive". I'm not saying I have something against babies, but in the early stages of development, an unborn child does not yet, posses the same qualities as a mature human being.

Granted I think third trimester abortions are pretty fucking awful, but still, we've got plenty of people on this overly human populated planet who deserve to have their quality of life improved upon, maybe we as people should put more emphasis on the value of established life, rather than potential life.
