ok, my mom just told me that she wasn't going to be co-signing on any car for me over 5000$. except the car ive been looking at is a 2002 specV for 7000. are there any places that would give me a 6000 loan (i have 1000 to put down on the car) with no co-signer and no credit history? i make around 300 a week, so i could make the payments, im just wondering if any place would do that. or if im going to have to settle for a car 5000 and under that my mom will co-sign on.

yea i got an integra in my name way back in 99 when i had no credit, the car was 12,000 , i put 1500 down and my interest rate was 21%. damn i was an idiot back then. i realized after i got teh car what a big mistake i made, but luckily (lol) it got stolen in forest park in 01, they found it stripped in downtown atlanta and they paid me 3000 over what i owed, i was lucky

That would be the wisest choice. You should be able to get a decent car that's just as fast as the Spec for that price.
