    Today LG officially confirmed their upcoming LG Prada phone. Featuring a full touch-control design, the new handset is the result from the collaboration between the Korean manufacturer and the Prada design team.

    Yesterday at the IF product design awards the LG Prada mobile was first seen designated as the LG KE850. The unique thing about it is the large touchcreen menu interface which eliminates the need for a conventional keypad whatsoever. We cannot help but think about the newly announced iPhone by Apple which though would much larger and would run under the OS X. The LG KE850 Prada phone on the other hand would be only 12 mm run with a Macromedia Flash user interface.


    LG Prada phone

    The Prada phone by LG (KE850) would feature a large 3" LCD touchscreen display with yet unknown resolution and would also have a 2 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and a microSD memory card slot. The most interesting thing about the display itself is that it's made using the capacitive touchscreen technology. What that means is that the screen uses electroconductivity to sense your touch - much like the touchpad on the popular LG Chocolate. This technology is made to be used with fingers only, so the use of a stylus is out of the question whatsoever

    hmmmm, i know it has a prada tag, and im not a big fan of LG, but i think im liking this one better than the iphone. i gotta see real life pics of the iphone first

    i've cracked plenty of LCDs on my many phones...this time the whole damn thing is a lcd screen.. its just not for me ha
    No roll cages, no seat belts, just balls.

    yea that phones gonne be hawt, but i would rather have the k790 or k800 if i was gonna get another sony. i had a w600 and it was really buggy, had to flash it like 3 times lol

    That Prada looks pretty hot. I wonder how reliable their touchscreen is gonna be though. I wonder if that phone will sell or not since people are waiting for the iphone. I think it would of done great in sales if they would of released it before the Iphone was announced. Who knows about now, since the whole world is waiting for the Iphone. If it's a lot cheaper than the Iphone, sales for the Prada should be just fine...I think I want one

    Considering the Prada is coming out before the Iphone, technically the Iphone is a wannabe Prada.......on steroids. But like I said before, if this phone would of been released in the US before the Iphone was even announced, it would of done great here, just b/c it would of been the first phone that was completely touchscreen. They waited too long and now people aren't even gonna care for the Prada just b/c the Iphone will blow it out the water. And there's no way in hell that phone will cost more than the Iphone....

    you know how america is, we both know the prada phone WILL NOT be released for any major carrier here. high end phones like that dont do well in the states, the only way the iphone will is because its got the ipod name so everybody will want it. stupid americans lol
