Well it looks like a cool project. Can I ask how old you are ? How many projects have you done before ?

A few of us have torn up nice cars before to put in "monster power" way before the car was ready, and most of the time, the cars die a slow painful death. Like others have said...start slowly. Once you get the car running (and places like Garage Zero can help), then get it roadworthy and figure out what the car needs next. It's a lot easier to shake a car down as it is and fix suspension issues, get the brakes where you want them etc, without throwing money into a 2Jz whole.

Once you get the car in good shape, then if you decide you want a 2J in there, then you can still enjoy the car while you're saving cash up for all the misc stuff youl'll need.

Hope that helps....now take a hose to that thing and make her shine...Ma'am.
