I got rid of it before I graduated my senior year of high school. I loved the car, but unfortunately it wasn't something that I could keep.

My grandfather (the black bmw in the pictures is his) gave it to me, it was his car originally, and he planned to restore it. Once he started to put money into it, he realized that it needed way more than he had initially estimated. So he just gave it to me, told me I could do whatever with it. Just enjoy it.

I drove it on and off for 6-8 months, then it started to over heat. It also obviously had other imperfections throughout the vehicle, it needed paint, leaked power steering fluid, and other problems that I cannot come up with off of the top of my head. With me graduating high school soon, and moving up to Atlanta for college, I certainly couldn't take it with me, nor could I DIY and fix the problems it had. I spoke to my grandfather, and he told me he had lost interest in the project, and to sell it.

So I did. I sold it to a Mercedes enthusiast up in Ohio. He drove all the way from Ohio with a dually, and a huge car trailer. This guy owns a shop, and is actually in the process of doing a complete restoration on the car. I email him every so often to get updates on it.

It was the bad guy car from the early James Bond movies.

This thing sure was sweet to pull up into the parking lot at school in.

It had under 110,000 miles on it.
