    This is when i first got it



    This is as the transformation is just starting to take shape




    a bunch of parts, @_@ itb's ftw



    s13 rear subframe, and the little inline walboro that could...now upgraded to the big daddy fuel pump

    CAR:
    1972 Datsun PL510 4 door sedan /w independant rear suspension

    MOTOR:
    KA24DE

    i got the shell December 20th. Dropped the KA in it later that week. right now it is my daily driver. heat works and everything, got some tunes in it, Autometer coolant and oil pressure guage. Tach works and reads to 8,000rpm. Should have the speedo working once i swap my ka speed sensor with an rb20 cable driven vss

    MODS: 2-12-08

    *s13 240sx rear subframe (TURBO MFING DAVE!)
    *walboro 255lph inline fuel pump...upgraded now to an Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump along with
    *-12 Fuel filter, -10 fuel filter, 2 times -8 fuel feed lines to each end of the Aeromotive fuel rail
    *Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator
    *16 Gallon Fuel Cell with sending unit, sump, and anti-slosh foam
    *1" 510/KA custom front sway bar
    *280z front suspension /w 4 piston toyota brakes
    *Urethane bushing kit
    *280zx brake master cylinder
    *B210 polished aluminum brake booster
    *Adjustable front lower control arms
    *wilwood rear disc brake conversion /w 510 da-1 coil overs from ermish (no longer needed)
    *front coil overs /w 225lb springs and camber/caster plates
    *rolled front fenders
    *i have a front strut bar off a 240sx, the bolt pattern is the same but i need to shorten the bar to make it work
    *Z32 5 speed transmission /w modified bell housing to bolt up to the KA
    *Z32 TT 3.69 VLSD
    *Griffin 22x13x3" aluminum racing rad + FAL slim fans (looks like a fmic lol)
    *6k H4 HID's (thx Nitro)
    *Summit adjustable brake proportioning valve


    PARTS I HAVE BUT NOT ON CAR YET:

    *Precision custom GT30r (street turbo)
    *Log ka-t manifold /w t3 flange & 38mm wastegate flange
    *Tial 44mm wastegate
    *Greddy Profec
    *GSXR1000 individual throttle bodies
    *I have 370cc's and 550cc's but i'm going bigger than those
    *aem ems

    UPCOMING MODS:


    *9 second roll cage and possibly stitch welding the chassis up (i really don't wanna twist this chassis, it's too pretty lol)

    NEXT RUN DOWN OF MODS:


    *aem ems (check)
    *a plenum made for the itb set up (workin on that now)
    *Precision 62mm /w aluminum compressor wheel (possible drag turbo)
    *9:1 pistons
    *Forged rods
    *MLS HG
    *ARP head/main studs
    *possibly a 50-150 shot of laughy gas
    *Lethal Injection Custom Clutch
    *3, maybe 4" exhaust
    *i'm indecisive about water-air or just all air fmic, i just don't have much room up in the front
    *Blitz Bov times 2, blowzilla, or a big tial bov

    and that's my recipe for this Datsun go-kart for the time being.
    my goal is to have it all done and painted by the end of the year....

    i'll keep you guy's posted....or just post some vids in the KILLS section when my "talk" turns into a tangible street car

    510 love....i got bubble fender flares for the 510 sitting on my toolbox, and a Nardi Wood grain wheel so sexy

    i also have a 71 240z with bubble fender flares molded in, it's getting a little cage right now, some paint, then a chevy v8....most likely gonna go turbo LS1 unless my settlement check from the car that hit me provides more funds then we'll go Twin Turbo LSX or something along those lines, we'll see

    Hmm where have I seen that car before, I think its sitting next to a V8 350z at a certain shop, lol. As always dave good to see you doing it big.

    hell yeah! i like the 4 door so much more than the 2 door. that's just my taste. it makes it look like an old mobster dick tracey car to me LOL.

    i'm keeping the rear seats functional too, thx to Turbo Dave

    it's just gonna suck when i'm putting the rear over fenders on since the door comes up the rear wheel well...i'll get creative...and because of some secret badassness...i might not need to widen the rear to fit wide tires back there

    I liked the blue it is now till i saw that blue sr20det'd one with the bride interior selling for 20 million on nico or zilvia or wherever it was. then i was like dammit...i don't want it to look like that car....so my painter friend matt that used to work at Panoz strolls in with his valve cover for his sr20 car. he said it's black with a little blue flake or whatever in it...to me it looks blue with black flake, i'll take a pic of it when i get to the shop but it's damn sexy...

    i got a blue fuel cell for it too lol it's super cereal

    i wanna come down and see it sometime soon, i'll talk with Turbo Dad and limp my cripple ass over there

    You need to come out to one of the meets or maybe the mitty next year as it will be datsun heaven in 2010. Since Datsun BRE is the marquis for next years mitty. Should be a ton of them there.

    sounds like a plan

    hopefully it'll be done by then hahaha. once all the fab stuff is done i still have a big chunk of doll-hairs to throw at the motor and machine work >_<
