OJSC 2010 Meets...

This will be the meet set up for 2010.

I have Fort Yargo as being the first and last meets. I like this because we can rent a pavilion there for relatively cheap. It will be good for the colder months because the pavilions are heated. They also have indoor bathrooms and a kitchenette. We found one of the pavilions to rent for about $120. We'd really love to get donations to help secure this place.

Road Atlanta/The Mitty will be our second meet as it was last year. We had a great time. Although this is a weekend long event, the main day that the meet will be set on will be the Saturday. The cost for that will be $25 (for all three days it will be $45).

The third meet will be held at the newly set up (last year) 4th of July meet at the horse park in Conyers. This was a meet that we were invited to hold during the Rockdale County Fabulous 4th Festival. Not one person had a negative thing to say about the meet. We even do a People's Choice award where all the festival-goers voted for their favorite car.

The fourth meet will be held at Mary Alice Park at Lake Lanier. This is a favorite spot for a lot of us as it had plenty of parking and it was right at the lake.

I think one in the cumming area would be nice too....like the Happy Spa "Cumming" area. Because let's face it, I love whores.

I do agree with the Cumming, upper Atlanta area though...and with Happy Spa, but that way y ou can get a pretty central location.

I like Mary Alice as well. If TFS doesn't work out, then I would definitely be down to do the meet at that park. Or even if a mountain run doesn't go through. Later, QD.

We should have a lot of company at The Mitty. The annaul east coast Datsun 510 meet has been moved from WV to The Mitty this year beacause of the BRE theme.

We've known about the BRE being at Mitty next year for a long time now. That's why I especially want it there again.

I think we would definitely fit in during the "spook fest" thing they do every year. Rockabilly/hotrod type crowd. Lots of cars and bikes.
I got alot of attn when i went one year. There's one coming up soon. In june i think. There was some hearse club there one year.
