that does make sence, a 15 million dollar car on a open trailer not smart unless you dont give a fuck about the car, so i will have to agree with everyone on this. and that suv is not a ford!

DRIVE IT TILL YOU BREAK IT!!!
wow, that is straight up sex appeal.
“When convention and science offer us no answers, might we not finally turn to the fantastic as plausibility?” Spooky
Yea. It happens all the time.
It's not that people don't give a damm about the cars either, it's just that they don't think of the repurcussions. It's simple human nature, you don't think it could happen to you. Then.....when it does, you look back and think "Man, I probably shouldn't have put that car on the rickety trailor....oh well, i'll get it fixed".
Go to races like the Silver State open road challenge or the La Carrera Pan-America. You will see some expensive vintage iron down there. They also run em flat out. When they wreck em....most will say they will just get it fixed and it's still worth what it was worth before the wreck.
The reason is supply. Newer Exotics don't have a supply problem. But the 250 has a huge supply problem, there just aren't any of them. So the demand will outweigh the accident simply because there are no others to be bought.

The argument isn't or shouldn't be about an open trailer. Bugs on a windshield or headlights and possibly a couple rock chips isn't going to hurt a car. I guarantee you that semi has more insurance coverage than the euro minivan/suv thing and aluminum trailer. The F50 will be the most valuable at $750-900k, followed by the F40 for $500-600k, then whatever the Lambos are worth...probably no more than $150-250k each. All those combined still won't reach even the low end value of a 250 GTO, as in the cheapest one has ever sold for.
Anything is possible though?

I've seen a 250 GTO get rained on, does that count? lol
That photo right there sums up what I said about rich people and their inability to grasp what their toys are worth to other people. When you are inundated with money, things like this are just another posession. To us they are godly automobiles, to them....just a car.

10 Veyrons were made available in Moscow, orders placed, then they were dispersed throughout Russia upon their arrival...apparently that was one of the ways it was delivered. I would still say that is safer than a small trailer but I wouldn't want to be the one loading or unloading it though lol!
A 1001 hp Bugatti Veyron worth of $1.1M was presented to public in Moscow city, in the capital of the country where the average doctor’s salary is $150 per month or $1800 per year.
Well i have seen replicas of the 250 gto that are made close or exactlly the same as those ones for less than 100k with aluminum hand formed bodys and ferrary powertrains, who knows this is one of those replicas but definetlly not a kit out of a 280z you can tell by the deep dish wire knock offs wheels and the fat tire plus the roofline and slide door window it may have a chevy V8 under the hood but it is not a 280z kit!

Window frames are easily changed, then the jamb is modified to match. Or you can just take the entire roof off...
As you can see you can put that fat of a tire on a 240/60/80. Look at my examples of replica's I posted that retain the original Z window frames.
The aluminum body one you're speaking of was most likely built from a 250 GT, several were made from modified 250 GT using Ferrari parts. There are even a couple that have GTO noses and 250 GT rear ends. Still replica's but would fool anyone that isn't an extremely knowledgeable Ferrari connoisseur.

99% of the replicas i have seen they do not change the window frame to make it more realistic matter of facts i havent seen one yet, but there is another company making complete kits with fiber bodies just like the A/C Cobras they do the chassis and all the suspension components, but cant remember the name of the company, as you can see in the picture you post thats a nicelly don convertible but they just have a big fail in the wheel choice on the stamped steel knock off lookalike instead of aluminum real ones, but none the less superb i have seen the picture before.

Ok i am going to point out what makes this a non nissan 280z based GTO replica!
1- the door wintow frame
2- the door botom line higher than the 280z based kit
3- the jack lifting points showing tru the body sides one near the bottom back and bottom front of the door
4- the wheel deep dish aluminum knock off style
5- the windshield moulding rubber showing a lot on the 280z based than the GTO
6- door handles
And i can point a lot more but this is enough!
I am not saying is not a replica but i am 100% sure is not a nissan datsun 280z based replica!

One thing that is completely different is the rear spoiler on each of those Z based kits. It's straight across. The one on the first page is correct, rounded. Flares are more pronounced on the op one as well. I have to agree with Dragon on this, it's either not a Z based kit, or it's been extensively modified.

This is an ENTHUSIAST forum you doofus.....this is what people do here. They talk about things. Perhaps the Hello Kitty Forum is more your speed. Head on over there and discuss the finer points of stickers and glitter pencils.

The real ones have both...

Well shit, end of that video tells me Ralph Lauren now owns one of the cars...the same one I posted a photo of in the last reply.

Videos are great, but in a way they piss me off. Why couldn't I have been born rich instead of so damn good looking? Ferrari GTO at 19yrs old? WTF?????
But at least they did run the hell out of them. Indeed using the car for what it was built for.
Sad to say but Im not that much into that car... I would spend my money some other way.
