lolol! I can't believe James posted the Suwanee cops video hahaha!

Lol. James hasn't owned it in awhile far as I know. It's his boss that owns it now. That video is hot on so many levels.

That is one bad little car. I imagine that the V6 is definitely a handful in it!
Who knows?
Gotcha, I haven't seen the car in over a year! The ad has Jame's name on it.Originally Posted by Glides

Then it sat outside his house for years until it was finally sold...
Sexy interior! Clean & simple...

Yeap that's Harry Blazers old 510. Went from him to Bryan Feldman, then to the Apel brothers and the to the current owner. It did have an oil slick, bar bumpers behind the factory ones so he could ram people and all that.
When I rode in it it made about 350 or so to the rear wheels. And then it was a beast. I can't imagine it now.

No. The coolest 510s have bashed in fenders.![]()

That car is bad and the video is fucking funny.
Ah thought so! So did Turbo Tom originally build the car?Originally Posted by Glides

Well the car used to have cragars on it, the solid ones. You can see em in that video.
Turbo Tom built that entire car. From what I was told, Harry Blazer drove it and everytime something broke....he took it back and told em to fix it and make it stronger. Last tally before he parked it under a tree...right under 80 grand.
Then he sold it to Feldman and he went back through it. Then James Apel got it and drove it around. Then sold it to his boss who supposedly REALLY riced it out. But seeing it now, it's monstrous.
I don't really care so much about the wheels. I would like older school on it but I would also put some Halibrands on it were it mine.

Some cheap ass XXR 502's would do that car more justice. But then again that 510 is still baddass.
(919): so I was just driving high and I stopped to let a pinecone cross the road because I thought it was a hedgehog.
Yea the 510 was James Apels, Joes Z28 was a freaking monster man. Both Joe and James are super cool guys. I always enjoy talking to them.Originally Posted by StraightSix

I only met James once or twice when I was working at the Duluth Station Kauffman, which is also where I worked with Joe.Originally Posted by Glides
I agree both are very cool cats to talk to. Joe left the company and was getting into WERA, IIRC. Joe's Z28 was a very nicely done car. As I recall, that car held the record for most hp from a NA SBC for a good while at Atlanta Chassis Dyno.
Oh well, enough reminiscing.
Before the Z28, Joe had a really clean White ITC 510 that was still street legal. It was the best handling 510 I have ever driven. He sold it and it got an SR20det swap and then moved to FL the last I heard.

Yea, both James and Joe were racing Wera. Also you are correct, Joe's car did hold the SBC record for long time at Atlanta Chassis Dyno. That car was set up for curves and ran 10's if I remember right. It was a monster. The white 510 he had with the Turquise BRE stripes was gorgeous. I used to come up there and talk to him from time to time. Probably met you. Can't remember what I drove then, either a red or black 3rd Gen RX7 probably.Originally Posted by StraightSix

Hmmm, I remember a white 4dr. 510 that sat behind the shop for a while. I was told that one was a work in progress. But, beyond that particular car, I don't recall seeing Joe with a white 510 with BRE stripes...could have been before or after my time.Originally Posted by Glides
I was at the shop the day Joe was installing the Bilstiens in the Z28.
It's entirely possible that we met back then, I'm not sure though. I worked at Duluth Station during my last semester at UGA as a part time tire sales guy. As soon as I graduated, I was transferred to John's Creek and stayed there for almost two years.
Oh, I'm pretty sure solosi was referring to one of Joe's old cars, not Joe himself. I had to read the post a couple of times before I realized that solosi meant the car went to FL.
I did mean the car went to Fl, not Joe..........sorry.Originally Posted by StraightSix
