Old School Motorcycle Thread

I know there are a few of us on here with old or vintage motorcycles and wanted to make a thread for them. Seemed like the appropriate place.

79' Kawasaki Kz400 LTD

My first bike...which I do miss because it was so obnoxious. Did a lot to this bike, especially cleaning up all the rust lol, and dont know what happened to it after I sold it.

Oh yeah heres what it looked like when I got it....pretty damn rusty...and dirt daubers built a nest in one of the cylinders...

Then right when the 400 died the first time I picked up my second bike which I will never get rid of more than likely. Paid $240 and it looked like crap to begin with but definitely a lot better than the 400. XD

i love your bikes, i almost bought 3 old hondas about a year ago. one decent one and 2 parts bikes. i always wanted and old honda bike just to learn on. since i never rode one before.

Killer bikes man...you need some gloves though.

2nd to a helmet, gloves are the most important thing I think you need.

I have them just dont wear them unless its cold. Not a smart idea I know but old habits die hard.

Yeah im thinking of picking up a Cb400 on craigslist and making it in to a cafe racer pretty soon. Dont know yet though.

^Maybe not if its cheap. Look on craigslist, my last bike the 550 only cost me $240. Of course it wasnt running but was in great shape.
