i bet from a distance some people might confuse it with a supra celica from back in the day.

I got it already, I'm just awaiting to install the TurboUnleashed 3in exhaust, 2.5in Downpipe and Flowtech muffler. I still have to get a 3in to 2.5 reducer for the dp to the exhaust, and a 3in swing valve for the turbo. The stock 1.something inch swingvalve is not going to maintain the boost when I install the 3in exhaust. The boost gauge and boost controller installed already. And I'm going to install the Dawes Device (Fuel Cut Defender) here pretty soon.

There's a really nice one up in Greenville, SC. I see it at a muffler shop every time I go up there. Later, QD.

Maybe you should pick it up? Then your name "QuickDodge" could mean that you have a quick dodge

Edit: there is two in Hiram, GA that this guy is selling for pretty cheap. One is a black and silver with no engine, and the other is a good running silver and blue Shelby Charger. The Silver/Blue Shelby Chargers are more rare due to Chrysler only making 439 in 1985 and 387 in 1986. He wants around 1 grand for the silver one. Someone should pick it up!

It isn't for sale. It's someone's that works there. And when I came up with my name, I had a quick Dodge. Later, QD.

They like to catch on fire and brun down to the ground. Make sure you tell yours to not do that, bc that's not nice.

You aint lying, the fusible links on these turbo dodges are prone to fail all the time. I hope my car does not catch on fire! I will make sure to warn my car to not to do so.

    Forgot to post this up:

I ran it at SDR last weekend, made a awesome first pass.

I got in the 14's! Lol, I tried for a second pass I thought I missed 2nd...but i realized the clutch was slipping instead. 3rd it slipped under boost, So I called it a day. At least I went home with a 14 second timeslip, or should I say limped home...lol. So now it's time for a better clutch, and I will do my homemade modifying to the engine mounts... It will be ready for ImportShowdown

    UPDATE:

In the process of changing the clutch. It was a b*tch taking this trans out. It took me about 10 hours to take the trans out. I can usually drop a trans in a Honda in about 2 hours and have everything done. But with this dodge...geez I didn't know it would be this hard.

Anyway, got the clutch and pressure plate out to inspect it and it looks like the clutch glazed over. And maybe the pressure plate failed on me too. Also the flywheel has hairline cracks, so i'll be taking that to the local machine shop to get it re-surfaced.

Hell yeah. I didn't know you took it to SDR though. Would have tried to made it up their to watch you make a pass. If you need any help of anything, just let me know.

    UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

Well I knew it was going to happen sooner or later... My trans is giving out. I have no second gear, it's hard to get it into 1st, and reverse. The 525 trans are known for being stupendously weak. The first thing in the Turbo-Mopar community do to these turbo L bodies is swap the trans. The 200lbs plus torque will weaken the hell out of these things. The GLHS intercooled version of this car and the Omni has the 555 trans with the Getrag forged gears. Damnit!

Might sell it, or park it in my uncles property. Anyone want to buy a low mile, 6k mile on a rebuilt engine rare Shelby? I'll sell it cheap, and with all my goodies I have for it.
What shall I do? I need transportation, I have two jobs working 45+ hours a week, and still go to school full time.

I mean I can find one. But it will take some time searching for one. Just like any other old school car. Which time is something I don't have. But All of these turbo-mopar tuners are up north where they were produced. Im sure if I was up north in Ohio, I bet I could get one real quick.

Just get something cheap and keep that until you can do something with it. Or trade someone for something that you can drive daily. That would be the best way to do it.
