Because its cheaper, more displacement, and more parts are readily available. Also when swapping an Sr20 into a 510 you have to get an aftermarket turbo manifold because of clearance issues with the steering box so it is not as straight forward as swapping one into a 240sx. And primarily i got this whole Ka with the turbo setup together.[/QUOTE]

what about rod knock with those motors? i have seen so many people go ka-t on a 240 nto get rod knock because of the stork of the motor.. i'm not trying to be a dick head...

No offense taken, thats common for stock bottom end KaT's. The ring glans start to fry at any thing over 300hp and rods snap at around 400hp.but there is plenty of aftermarket support for them. Checkout Ka-t.org there are plenty of people running 500-1000hp Ka's. Besides i only want around 330hp on the street and maybe mid 400s on a good tune, you have to kep in mind the damn thing weigh 2000Lbs and the widdest rear tire you can stuff back there is 225.
