Got a potential new name for next year's gatherings!!!!

Hmm, I'll be honest, I have some beef with that name

It reminds me of the Power Tour. That being said, if you have "tour" in the name sake, I'd at the very least expect a cruise/drive somewhere to another location to do something that entitles the said meet name to have tour in it.

I mean like meet at say Ft. Yargo. Cook out, eat, then everyone cruise to say Road Atlanta and go race on the track, or go up the Commerce and lay down from drag strip times ( I actually want to see your 79 CVCC lay down from rubber )

I'm not over analyzing it, but I just don't see the point of having tour in the name if you're not going anywhere ( you meet in one spot and then eventually go to another or something - like how the Hot Rod Power Tour works ). It's misleading.

Not trying to be a negative nancy, but if I was a new guy and saw the name Lack Of Power Tour and showed up in my old school car, I'd expect to be driving, touring, or going from the one spot to another spot for doing something else.

Now, if we arranged it to where say, we met - had lunch, maybe arranged an auto-x event at say Year One (huge parking lot), and then maybe go up to Commerce after that for drag racing, THEN I could agree on that name.

There are lots and lots of tours that don't move around the same day. The Lowrider Magazine Tour. Rock bands tour constantly. A tour doesn't mean you move around instantly. It can also mean changing up venues from place to place.
