Who is up for a Georgia - Cannonball

There was somebody in the Event board who was trying to put together a Poker style run from north georgia to Florida. It fell through. As much fun as it would be, it would attract a lot of attention from cops because of people speeding and breaking numerous laws.

That was my homie from up in seattle. We've done numerous trial runs with 3-4 checkpoints and added the times and they've always worked out well. The biggest one we ran was from downtown Seattle (4a.m) to downtown Portland, OR with about 40cars from a local forum. We had some sick ass cars and we literally turned away anyone who looked like they had the ricer mentality (retarded lane changes and erratic driving).

It can be done with a nice 20 car group of known people and if you leave a 4-5min gap between the cars leaving it keeps it pretty low key rather than having all the cars hauling ass down I-75 at the same time. When getting into the 30+ car range we just let 2-3 go at a time so we wouldn't be held up at checkpoints for hours!

He was sent off to Iraq so I doubt he can get anything started for awhile but if anyone responsible enough was down to organize something I'd be happy to help
