Just tell her in the scene you have people that are called ricers, and there car loses value and your putting money into something that isnt going to pay off in the end. It's going to look funny, people will trash talk the car and all in all your losing money and trashing a good ride. Maybe she will change her mind. Show her some ugly rides and say this is not what to do to a ride, then show her some sweet rides and tell her if she does it right she will have a nice car for years and when she sells it another person will want to buy it for more providing you have the right mods.
