yeah like 10 mins ago i just ruined my perfect driving record ;(


ah dam its all good tho... Yep its my fault... I really wasnt goin that fast that i recall.. just driving

mofo batdude8 called me about that cingular shit... a min later i leave my house and get pulled over like a mile from my house

clocked me by radar at 54 in a 35....

"I just clocked you at 54 in a 35"
me- "oh really I didnt think i was going that fast"
him- "why"
me- "I have a digital dash, you know those aren't too accurate"
him-"how fast do you think you were going?"
me- "i dont know, like 44? "
him- "let me run a check the calibration on the radar...let me get your ID, etc etc"
- he comes back with the citation.... yep the radar was right, its 54 over..

nice cop, just doin his job...

I have a perfect record... court day in february... i believe it was a lilburn city cop, but am not too sure.

Anyone have any tips? I'm thinkin to do nolo contendere. and just pay the fee.. Just wondering when you plead nolo, is it reported to the insurance agency?

Also, I'm really REALLY hoping the ticket is dropped haha (aren't we all)
i mean I was the only one on the road... wasnt crazy accelerating.. I think my BOV sounded RIGHT as i passed him on the shoulder and i was like DO'H

save your nolo...since you have a perfect driving record, and I assume this is your first ticket, just go to court, and play it by ear...most courts in GA if its your first ticket ever, they will reduce it to 14 no points and a simple fine..and they dont report it to the DMV...

play it by ear, if the judge is a straight up asshole, just do the NOLO and accept what he gives you

ANY ticket is reported to the DMV...My nolo that i was told WOULD
NOT was and my insurance is about $35 higher a month than it should be.
