I don't know any of you guys personally, so don't get all up an arms about what I'm about to say.

If you're running an open downpipe......it's really YOUR fault. You are asking for trouble. Why ask for it and then complain when you get it?

If you're running open headers, no cats, loud mufflers.....you too are asking for trouble. Why ask for it and then complain when you get it?

Yall do know that there are very minimal IF ANY gains from running setups like that? So what's the purpose? If you wanna be loud, be loud. Just don't complain when that's not everyone's cup of tea. I'd be pissed if I had my kids playing in MY own front yard and I kept hearing this LOUD car coming up and down the street. Worse yet, I'd be UBER pissed if I was sleeping minding my own business and someone woke me up with their exhaust note at 3 a.m. People do have kids. People do have jobs. To be honest, I'd probably wanna do more than just call the cops on you if you woke me up at 3 a.m. with your loud exhaust that YOU put on YOUR car and were driving around in.

Again, I don't know any of you guys personally, but put yourself in other people's shoes and think about how they feel. There are plenty of busy body neighbors that have nothing better to do than to aggrevate other people. True. But then why give them a completely legit reason to call the law on you? Doesn't that make YOU pretty damn dumb? That's like stealing at a store and looking right up at the security camera and smiling, then complaining you got caught..... If they bitch about little BS reasons, call them on it. If they bitch about a legit reason, then you have nothing you can really complain about since it's mostly your own fault.

My catless 3" system gained apx 65+ hp and 85+ tq. Think thats worth it?

As far as the noise level, imagine a harley... I know my car isn't nearly as loud as one of those and you can't call and complain about one of those unless they are just sittin there revin it or something...

I've spoken with ALL of my other neighbors and none of them are bothered and none of them mind the noise from my car...

I believe what Jaime meant was that you can accomplish the same gains (in some cases more) with a well tuned exhaust system. An open exhuast is not necesarily a better exhuast, just cheaper and easier. It has been proven on many different applications.

I remember one vid of a civic I believe that gained less than 1 hp when going from its full exhaust to a open exhaust, and actually lost some torque.
