    Default Looks to me like the PS3 shortage is over

    This photo was taken at Fry's electronics in Alpharetta this morning at 11AM
    Looks like the only thing keeping them from 'flying off the shelves' is the ridiculous sticker price.

    Much sympathy to resellers who had hopes of becoming wealthy by flipping them at crazy mark-ups

    Yup!! When the 2600 came out we walked 3 miles in the snow, UP HILL BOTH WAYS to get it...LOL

    Thing is, though, is that the systems were never out of supply. They hold back to cause hype and frenzy with the Xmas season here. Then, when holiday season is over, everything goes back to normal. Later, QD.

    I agree, they made many more than their advertised 400k total or whatever it was. It's all a marketing scam. The blueray does look sick as hell though. Buddy has a PS3 on a HD 37 inch LCD and I swear to god it looks 3D on his blueray talladega night (sp?)

    Yup.. I agree..They are selling SLOW now..HAHAHA..cuz you can't make profit on them anymore and ppl who want them already got them for over priced on EBAY..lol best buy had about 80 60GB sitting here..while i was there only 2-3 got sold. if that.

    Sony issued a press release the wednesday after they hit stores saying they would have atleast 1.1 million systems in the stores by christmas. Thats why the EBay prices dropped so quickly the first time.

    I can't believe that people are spendin, so much money just for entertainment, Sony, Wii, Xbox all that shit is not worth half the money they ask for. Just emagine how much you need to work to make that much money and this sick and rich fucks need to DIE!

    yeah, there is no shortages at all..

    I saw a 20 gb here, a 60gb there..


    but you can flip a buck on ebay and find buyers in remote/rural areas of the country to pay those prices..

    come out ot conyers and sell Wii's and PS3's make a fortune, i was in gamestop buying my nephew a xbox, and about 15 parents came in asking for a wii, and ps3, they all settled for the 360..lol
