I have a friend that used to do it, like someone else said you would never know it.. probably the coolest guy I've ever met and a complete ladies man. But he stopped and he's married now living a happy family life.
Most do not end up like that though, I used to wonder this same thing but after some years and maturing I understand that no good can come of that situation and it actually becomes comical. Think about it, more than often these guys end up in jail or dead, theres no future in that shit.. the girlfriend ends up pregnant, 2 or 3 kids on public assistance.. don't look half as good as she used to but feels like she cannot do any better. A man with morales and some respect about himself doesnt want her, what can she bring to the table? She has all this baggage from a situation that a decent man would never associate himself with.

What's even funnier is these yuppiefied girls that listen to rap music and watch the BET awards and suddenly they want to go out and bag themselves a thug for real. It's a perception that these guys are just like they see in videos.....a ton of money, always having fun, always partying, always having nicest of everything. That may work for the rappers and the ball players, but it's not what most street level thugs are about.
Real DD's don't mess around with hood rats nor yuppiefied girls. They have real families with real women, just like most of us. The only difference is their line of work. Some of us punch clocks, they punch people when they don't pay.

I've had the chance to work with some entertainers as of late. I have to say that most are nothing like they are made out to look like on TV. It's a persona. It's a work thing. It's business.

Well, I won't drop no name 'cause I aint like that, BUT......I'll say this:
Football players are pretty down to earth in that they don't usually try and talk down to you or anything. They like to cut up and tell jokes. Some even like to play pool and throw dice wit ya. To be honest, some are real "hood", but that's just them. I'd rather they be like that than snobby or arrogant. They are big boys, and they know it.
Rappers are creatures of extremes. Either they're crazy cool, one of the guys or they're in their own world doing their own thing. So far, I've been lucky to work with some of the cooler ones. They are cool, they just can AFFORD to LOOK cool too....
Producers are used to getting their way and driving their own bus, so you know how that goes. They have people that handle all parts of their life, so they're used to results and no so much HOW it got there sometimes. You know? They're goal oriented. They've been cool too though.
DJ's are probably the most down to earth in my experience so far. They ask questions and are easy to get along with.
Again, I've been lucky. I don't get star struck very often, and to be honest half the time I'm not well versed on who is who and who they had beef with last week. Maybe that's why when I interact with them, the subject matter may be different and therefore they relax rather than the usual drama. That's why I have been asking all the guys here that know their stuff when it comes to this to fill me in.
