    I just got an e-mail from a friend of mine.If this is true, I will be extremely careful arnd that area.

    "I was just witness to a gang fight on Pleasant Hill rd at Satellite Blvd during my lunch break. It involved approximately six young males, knives and guns (none were fired) and was pretty scary. Even more scary is the warning that a Gwinnett County Police office gave me who showed up after the fight. He told me that there is a serious turf war going on right now between several gangs around the Gwinnett Place Mall area. He said the area covers Pleasant Hill Rd, going east to Club Drive, West to Old Norcross and then going south down to the Beaver Ruin Rd Area. He said the instance of fights and other gang related incidences has gone up 500% in the last two weeks in that area."

    Thats why nobody goes over there as much anymore. I remember when Gwinnet Mall stayed packed. Now when I go to Fry's it looks like a ghost town over there.

    I drive right through there damn near everyday on Satelitte. Never seen anything either really. The area has went to shit though....

    can't say i'd be surprised if it's true! that's why i'm leaving gwinnett county...it's getting way too ghetto for me & i refuse to let my kids go to gwinnett county schools!
