    That every government program is essential and under-funded;

    That the failure of any government program is proof it needs more funding;


    - If I didnt know any better I would think the "conservative" republicans in office right now believe in these same principles.. basically bigger government and less individualism.

    edit: I also have to add that with 6 years of Republicans having control of the Executive and Legislative branches of government.. government has not gotten any smaller and has actually GROWN.. why? Going by the original post only Liberals believe in that type of thing.
