    I was watching a show on the moon last night. Turns out that shit is crusial to are existence and with out it, we would all die since it's gravitation keeps the earth on its axis and not wobbling. They say its moving away from us at 1.5inches every year which does not bother me since that aint gonna do shit any time soon. Though if a meteor hits it and it disappears, were all gunna be fucked.

    It also controls the flow of the oceans, its why the tides come in at night (the moons gravity pulls the oceans closer to it) and then goes out during the day when the moon is on the other side of the earth.

    I hate living in the city and not being able to see the moon and stars that well.

    Yep. The moon is now about 250k miles away, and they were saying 3 billion years ago when it was much closer, it was making 1000ft tides and waves of LAND every day due to the amount gravitation it exerted.
