It's about 2:30am, and you're on your way to drop off a buddy at home. It's the eve of his wedding, and he's elated. Everything's going well. The two of you are sitting at a light, waiting for it to turn red. Laughing, and talking about marriage and life before marriage, just having fun.
Suddenly, you hear a voice coming from outside of the car. You look around, and notice another car pulling up on the passenger's side. You see a young man in the driver's seat, next to him a young woman. His window is down and he's rambling something, you're not sure what, so you roll down your passenger's window. There's an exchange, during which you notice the two other people in the backseat. You also realize that this guy is clearly drunk (he's still holding a cup of something while talking). After a few seconds of this, the guy is even angrier than he was when he pulled up, and begins to motion for what may be a gun. Your thoughts go immediately to your friend, who is positioned directly between you and the other guy.
Do you...
A: drive off, and run the light to get away in hopes that he wont give chase?
B: throw the car into reverse, and try to escape that way?
C: talk with him more, to try and resolve the disagreement?
Reps as usual. Oh yeah, and please explain your reasoning.
