    I'm white. 1/8th Cherokee due to a fullblood cherokee great grandmother, my maternal family traces its ancestry back to Scotland and my paternal family knows nothing of its history other than that they came to America as pirates. When in Scotland me and my family found a memorial at the Culloden battlefield to our ancient clansmen who fell at the hands of the british. I know there is some Polish blood on my mother's side but I'm not sure how close that is to my genetics.

    im white. part irish, german, and scandinavian.........kinda a funny story about some of my ancestors: apparently one of my great great great greats was a southern plantation worker or something and married a northern carpetbagger after the war, how unusual

    German. That's it. One of my grandparents was adopted with no records available so no clue on that 1/4. My grandmother was also adopted but by a family friend so she knew her heritage. All of my known ancestors came to this country in the late 1800's so there wasn't much to trace to find where I came from.
