so i can't believe someone has mentioned this already but Microcenter has a running promotion right now selling both the core and premium systems for $100 off through a rebate.

also, if you're willing to sign up for a new credit card, they also offer a visa card through bank of america on which if you make a purchase of $399 or more (which the premium just so happens to be...), you'll get 13,000 pts redeemable for around another $100 worth of statement credit, bringing your final total to around $200.

yeah it's not instant money off but shit, for $200 i'm willing to wait a couple of months for the rebate and reward money to come through

oh and while i'm at it, microcenter also pricematches so if you're interested, print out an ad from kmart as they have a wireless controller for $29.99 this week and an ad from circuitcity as they have gears of war for $44.99 this week
